Religious Singing Competition 2019
Exhibition & Religious Singing Competition 2019 has provided a platform to the minority youth, where they have participated in an exhibition & religious singing competition. This component of the project aims at preserving and promoting the culture of minorities while spreading the culture of peace and tolerance between adherents of religions and cultures. Moreover, it has promoted a positive image of Minority youth specifically of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and of Pakistan at global level.
Religious Singing competition which was also named as “Suroh ka Yudh” was implemented in three stages which are as follow;
- Semi Final
The first round of “Suroh ka Yudh” was conducted on 27th April, 2019 at Arena Hall, Qayyum Stadium Peshawar. A total of 54 participants appeared on the day out of approximately 80. During the trials music was provided to all the participants for better presentation. Furthermore, 15 participants were shortlisted by the judge’s panel for the semifinals on 02 May, 2019 at Marbella Cave Peshawar.
The semifinal round of “Suroh ka Yudh” was conducted on 02nd May, 2019 at Marbella Cave Peshawar in which 15 shortlisted participants have performed in front of judges out of which only 5 qualified for the final.
The final round of “Suroh ka Yudh” was conducted on 03nd May, 2019 at Marbella Cave Peshawar in which 05 shortlisted participants have performed in front of judges out of which only 3 participants qualified for the top 3 positions and received the trophies and cash prizes.
