Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Academia & Partner Organizations
Liaison Corporation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Expansion/ Business Development; needs has signed various Agreements/ MoUs with various Organizations & Institutions in Pakistan.
Liaison Corporation committed with its partners in Academia that it shall assist the respective Universities in education, awareness, capacity building (training & development) for both the students and staff members under its CSR. It was also committed for working on mutual benefits to build the capacity of the Institution and put it on the path of self-sustainability along with sharing knowledge and experience with each other.
It is the First Public Sector Women University in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University is named in commemoration of the contributions made by the significant ladies of Pakistan who bestow their life for the cause of women emancipation and for the betterment of the country. It was inaugurated on September 01, 2004. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister, Mr. Pervez Khattak, Muhammad Dawood, Sectary Information Technology and Science & Technology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Mian Khaliq Ur Rehman (Advisor to CM), Planning and Development.
It is a Public Sector University situated in Darra Adam Khel, FR Kohat, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa erstwhile FATA). It is the first and only Higher Educational Institution in the Merged Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is a full-fledged Public Sector University where students are offered holistic educational experience. University of Swabi is one of Pakistan’s newly established universities with excellent teaching and a growing reputation for quality education. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 25 Teaching Departments. Liaison Corporation signed this MoU with University of Swabi in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Chairman, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
Liaison Corporation has signed an MOU with the Skill Development Council (SDC). The purpose of the memorandum is to promote public and private partnership & to give recognition to youth. Liaison Corporation is working with various departments for building the capacities of youth on diverse subjects to produce trained human capital.
The Peshawar Press Club (PPC) is an organization of working Journalists and Professionals working in media in Peshawar, Pakistan. The press club was founded in 1964 after the need for journalists to sit and organize press conferences was raised. Currently, the PPC has a membership of over 500 working journalists affiliated with over 35 plus media outlets from both print and electronic media, making it the third largest in the country. Under this MoU Liaison Corporation shall provide its services under its CSR to Peshawar Press Club for building the capacity of journalists on latest trends in media in general and social media in particular, institutional capacity building, and its linkage with the external world & stakeholders through website and social media platforms.
NAB is the Pakistan’s apex anti-corruption organization. It is charged with the responsibility of elimination of corruption through a holistic approach of awareness, prevention, and enforcement. It operates under the National Accountability Ordinance-1999. With its headquarters in Islamabad, it has seven regional offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Sukkar. It takes cognizance of all offences falling within the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO). LC’s Client Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its Project, Provincial & National Youth Carnival 2017, signed this MoU with Awareness & Prevention (A&P) Wing of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Liaison Corporation was assigned this task of creating awareness among young people on anti-corruption and ensures transparency in all its forms.
